Hello! How do u prepare leafy vegetables such as spinach for baby? Is it ok to wash with salt water? Then pour hot water over to let it soak for awhile before serving?

If you do not wash spinach thoroughly, then you might find that bits of sand may still be stuck inside. 1. Clip off long stems. 2. Rinse the spinach leaves under running water. 3. Submerge spinach leaves in a bowl of cold water. 4. Soak spinach leaves for 5 to 10 minutes to allow debris to settle at the bottom. Wave spinach every 2 or 3 minutes to dislodge more sand. 5. Pick out the leaves by hand out of the water so the sand remains in the bowl. 6.
