MC for medical check

Will the gynae provide MC for the mother and father for the monthly medical check ups? Will the MC be only under the mother's name ? Can the husband use it as well ? Is this MC to accompany wife accepted by companies ?

MC is issued only under 1 name which is usually the parent who visits the gynae. If it’s the father bringing the child, then the father will get the MC issued under his name. If it’s the mother, then it will be under her name. The father can apply under Childcare Leave though but depends on companies if they’re entitled to it.

My gynae issued only to me, but she did put my husband’s name on the MC to say that he accompanied me. My husband’s company didn’t accept it though. But you can try asking! :)

I went to a private gynae. MC prescribed for both me and my hubby (2 slips with distinct names).

I go to clinic under TMC. MC under my name only. Doc nv mention possibility under hub’s name

only the mum will get a MC. Husband won't get it and will have to take leave etc

My gynae only gave mc for mom, they cannot issue mc for husband.
