How to quit her pacifier

My girl is on Pacifier since the day she is born. Now I am trying my best to not let her suck during the day , no matter how hard I try she will cry non stop. How can I help her to quit her sucking during day time , cos she will be attending playgroup soon.

just remove the paci from her sight even though she cries distract her with some other activity. she will eventually forget about the paci
