Baby like to hide face during ultrasound

This is my first pregnancy, currently 21 weeks. During my detailed scan and another scan, baby always doesnt want to show side profile/face during scans (altho after a few tries doc did get measurement for nasal bone and lips). Its always looking away. The printed ultrasound pic i get is not the side profile of baby that i usually see people post online whereby youll see the pointy nose and lips. A little sad and wonder if its normal 😅 cs i tend to overthink if theres something wrong with baby esp when i dont get the pic of the side profile. (20 week detailed scan turns out fine tho) #firstbaby

I feel u! my bb was like that during all ultrasounds! 😆 I also kept thinking if something was wrong with the LO and my gynae kept commenting why always cannot see & would poke/budge/take sweet drinks hoping the bb turns during scans(but just totally refuses to move once inside doc's room). guess what? week36 finally could see face etc, gynae more excited than me and printed me so many photos

Drink cold water hahaha like wake baby up to turn. I also did my scan and i spend half a day in kkh just to have a scan cause baby dw to turn. So i drank cold water and eat sweet stuff. 😂 it works

Hi Mum to be, It is completely normal. Don’t worry about it. I’d the doctor says all is good then all is well. Just trust the process and your body. Baby will be fine :)
