Waiting for 2nd scan to check viability

Finally coming to my 2nd scan after 2 weeks of wait. Previously did a transvaginal scan and found an empty sac at 10mm, likely 5 weeks plus. Was more than 8 weeks based on LMP. Unable to determine if pregnancy was viable. Very nervous for the upcoming one. Anybody has experiences like this, care to share and for me to have some mental prep. Thanks :)
