Cervical polyp and bleeding

Hello fellow mummies! Can anyone with polyp and bleeding advise what should I do? I’m currently 9 weeks preggy, and I have a mid size cervical polyp which is making me bleed on and off for 1 week and I see bits of blood clots occasionally. It scares me as i tend to bleed more recently. My gynae gave me a 2 weeks supply of Duphaston tablets + 1 progesterone jab, but it doesn’t seem to help with my bleeding at all. Halpssss :( Each toilet visit, each sneeze, each wipe after peeing makes me scared and worried at the same time #cervicalpolyp #bleeding

Hello, I also have cervical polyp. First pregnancy the polyp was about the size of my thumb, second pregnancy is a lot smaller. During my first pregnancy I also bled quite a bit. I was super stressed and worried. I had to calm down myself a lot to think a bit more rationally. Don’t let fear overtake you if not it’s very stressful. Look at facts and benchmark the bleedings. My gynae told me as long as you’re not soaking through pads and there u feel no pain, it’s likely the polyp. For me, when I entered 2nd trimester, the bleeding was not so often already. 3rd trimester only bled maybe once or twice. From what I understand, hormone pills doesn’t help the bleeding to stop cause polyps are not hormone influenced. Pressure and increased blood flow will, but this is hard to control. Just observe, if you’re bleeding more than usual, just go in and get doctor to check. I was practically a VIP at the urgent care in my first trimester 😅 Take care mummy!

Thanks for the advice! I hope that my bleeding gets lesser as the days goes by. Not fun having this bleeding polyp and giving me scares whenever I wipe lol
