My father constantly nags my son. He's just 6 and feels very bad about it. I have told him a couple of times but my father doesn't listen. What do I do now?

Come on, he is your father not even, FIL. Just make him sit and seriously tell him how his nagging is affecting the psyche of your little kid. If required, both you and husband sit and make him understand that he is negatively affecting the child. And his behaviour can make him a stubborn and loud-mouth grown up. He will grow up disrespecting and hating his grandfather, and all this for no reason. You have to keep patience with little kids, and if cannot practise that, it is better he interact least with the child. Make him read a few articles and show him some videos that tells how nagging have negative affect on children. Check out these links and pick up points from in here and try to explain it to your father. Hope, he understands and himself tries to establish a bond with his grandson in a positive way. Elderly have sometimes this habit of nagging the younger generation. This is the generation gap! Best way is to let it go if your dad doesn't listen. At this age he is not going to change.
