Me:) You’ll need to find other ways to pacify your child. We used a lot of hugging, talking, baby wearing, etc to keep my child feeling secure. And in toddlerhood, when it came to meltdowns, we used other forms of distraction and took her away from the source of the meltdown to calm her down.
Pacifier’s a nice-to-have, but it’s certainly not essential, and I have no regrets with my decision:) (it does take more parental participation and engaging, so just a heads-up. Heh)
