What are the risks associated with sex during pregnancy?

Sex during pregnancy is generally safe for most women with low-risk pregnancies. However, there are some potential risks and considerations to be aware of. Vaginal bleeding, discomfort/pain, infections, placental abruption where the placenta partially or completely detaches from the uterine wall.   It's important to emphasize that most women with healthy, low-risk pregnancies can safely engage in sexual activity throughout pregnancy. However, individual circumstances can vary, and it's crucial to communicate openly with your healthcare provider about your specific situation.
