Feeling very emotional & upset

Just entered third trimester recently and had a heated emotional argument with my spouse today. It was terrible, and I cried for hours. Felt so guilty towards the little one in my womb and worried I've hurt my baby 😢 Why did i let myself get so upset.. so so scared that I've stressed baby out 😭

Mama, you are not the only one…I once had a very heated argument with husband in first trim too. We shouted at each other till neighbours can hear kind, bang the door loudly, I cried like mad, then we went into cold war for days…I too felt super guilty towards my little one when she was just a tiny fetus 😢 when u feel better, talk to baby, apologise to him/her that you didn’t mean to scare him/her. It is just hard to control our emotions when our reaction is affected largely by hormones during pregnancy😞 talk to your husband too when both have calmed down…I did explain to husband after that on how a mother’s anger, raising blood pressure, increased heartbeat etc will affect baby. And my expectation on him to be more understanding towards me. Things will be all right! Hugs!

I'm also in my third trimester right now so I totally feel you. However it's very normal to be emotional especially with the increased hormones in our bodies. If you're scared or anxious, it'll affect the baby as well. We just have to try our best to remain positive after breaking down. All the best mama

I have the same thought as you whenever I cried and stress out because of my husband, I'm also worried it will affect the baby inside me and then I felt guilty towards her

Same. I had many mini quarrels with my hubby and I’m so moody, emotional, stressed out everyday. We can do it, try to think positive as much as u can, for baby sake.
