Since there are no community replies yet and I don't want to give you the wrong information on something this important, I'd really suggest bringing your toddler to see the PD and asking directly, as they can walk you through what is recommended for that age group and address all your concerns properly. You can also check with your polyclinic as they would have the most updated guidelines on this.
