I got that too especially the first three months after delivery. We lose a lot of calcium during pregnancy as baby is also absorbing our calcium intake. And after delivery we tend to overwork our knees squatting up and down to carry baby, bathe baby etc therefore it is common for women to have knee pain after birth. Supplement with glucosamine and of course calcium and vitamin D

I do have an aching feeling on my knees too. i believed it's the weight that we bear during our pregnancy time. I have yet to consult doctors over this issue, i am drinking more milk and calcium related stuffs to strengthen my bones and try not to stand up too fast or carry overweight stuffs to prevent more strain on my knees. Avoid heels for the time being too

I believe that after giving birth, our body had undergone so many changes especially our joints. I’ve been experiencing hip and knee pains occasionally. 10-15 minutes of cardio exercise daily will help to strengthen our joints and adjust the duration and frequency as necessary.

Recently I started running as exercise but stopped shortly. My knees aches badly especially squatting down too. After I stopped running for about 2 weeks. But the pain still persist. :(

yes it's common.. it can be cz of low calcium levels as we mother's breast feed and also nurture baby fr 9 months in our womb .. consult an Ortho for better insight and supplement

Yes .. it’s common because we lost so much blood, our body becomes week after delivery.. n we gain some weight . Everything will be gets back but takes some time

My friends are all having the same problem. If it doesnt get better by 1 year, it is better to see specialist. Now, you should just have more calcium capsules to help ;)
