Does anyone breastfeed without a cover in front of their nannies and helpers? I've been doing it ever since and it just occurred to me now that they might find it uncomfortable? Should I talk to them?

I breastfeed openly in front of my own father and husband. My aunts have also watched me nurse. Of course they don't stare, but they are definitely not uncomfortable being in the same room because they understand that my baby needs to eat. It's quite ridiculous for the baby to have to eat with a cover over her head even at home. If they feel uncomfortable, you will be able to sense it. They will avert their gaze and try to leave the room. Besides, your nanny most likely would have been hired by breastfeeding moms prior to you.
