Do 5-m.o. babies see all colors?

At three to five months old, the baby starts to differentiate different colours, especially between similar bold colours and will progress to noticing subtle differences in pastels. One can try to encourage a baby's interest in primary colors and pastels as his/her colour vision develops. Hang mobiles that are primary-colored at the crib, have colorful posters around the house/room, and give the baby visually striking board books.
