No snacks this CNY

It's Day 3 of CNY and I've not touched a single CNY snack. I'm into 8 weeks now, and am unsure what can/cannot be eaten hence abstain altogether. Staring at the full tin of pineapple tarts n salted egg fried fish skin (bought before I knew I was pregnant) in my cupboard.... Can see can smell but cannot eat :(

Just go ahead in moderation and drink plenty of water so you don't fall sick. I don't see anything wrong with the CNY snacks, but do a quick Google before consuming anything "odd" (Eg sour plums, chemically treated food, herbaceous foods). I can't eat CNY snacks due to gestational diabetes, but that usually manifests in later trimesters.

If u see and u crave maybe a bite of the tarts and the other snacks should be fine. All in moderation. And yes water. U got appetite to eat that's good! Happy New Year! From a malay friend 🎊

My gynae said no to pineapple tarts! Otherwise, it's fine in moderation ☺️

It’s okay to eat them but in moderation as it’s high in sugar and fats
