first and foremost they have to know why they have to obey and what is it for them and for others, in that way when they grow up & become more matured they will know why some orders must be obeyed while others they have to say no to specially if it's going to put them to trouble. They need to know what is right and wrong, things that needs to be obeyed and what needs to be ignored. Why? Because there are some adults who can send children to do some crazy things and if the child are not educated and well informed about what is right and wrong it can put them to trouble. #LigtasAngMayAlam

don’t believe in blindly following instructions. and this stayed with me even now. and even when i’m at work. i like to voice my opinion and clarify things i don’t understand so i can give my inputs. so when kids are young, teach them how to think and help them understand why you are asking them to do things in a certain way and suggest if they have a better way of doing things.

It depends on what kind of children you want to raise, a independent thinking child who knows what he/she wants in life or a order taker? For me, I want a child who is capable of taking care of herself when I am no longer here so we allow and encourage them to question why.

children should be thought to follow orders from their elderly and their superior but they should also be thought to question why they are doing it because they need learn how to determine the morally right and wrong requests in the future.

depends. some parents gives stupid ideas to kid. eg. I overheard 1 mum told her kid "dont sit at the reserved seat otherwise got old people you have to give up your seat" what kind of values is she trying to teach her kid

Thay should ask questions and parents should be able to deliver the answer in a way that they can understand
