baby overtired but cant sleep

Baby is Wk7 now and have been trouble falling asleep. She is obviously tired -- rubbing eyes, yawning but nothing makes her sleep. Carrying feeding pacifier putting her down -- nothing works but she is not crying. Will she eventually fall asleep on her own ?

If she is not crying, it's still alright. The worst part is when she is cranky, wants to be carried yet don't want to sleep. When my girl was about 2months, she had this issue. I just had to keep carrying her, rock her, pat her until she falls asleep. The scary part is that once I placed her in her cot, she will cry & I had to repeat everything all over again. I also realised when she is too hot/sweaty, she also doesn't sleep, so I make sure I clean her up, with the fan on, somehow it works for her at times.

When she is overtired, she needs help to fall asleep. Carry and rock her til she is in deep sleep, then try to put her down. She might be having growth spurt or developmental leap this period which makes her more fussy and sleep poorly too, so might even need to carry her while she sleeps to ensure she gets enough rest. But jiayou mummy! She will sleep better in the weeks to come :)

Usually when they are overtired. They wouldn’t be able to fall asleep by themselves
