Transiting LO to their own cot / crib

My 8 weeks baby prefer to sleep on our bed since she is 3 weeks old I tried to bring the cot in but she still refuse to sleep in cot, her eyes will open so big the moment we put her down and start to cry Daytime is so easy to put her to sleep, i just put her in the cot then she will fall asleep on her own but it’s totally opposite when comes to night time. Since i am going back to work soon i want to let her sleep in her cot, any mummies have tips? And anyway it is not considered safe.
