If they think it’s stomach flu that’s causing the fever, then could they be suspecting some “food poisoning”? Like if the bottles were not sterilised properly? Or if unclean water was used to make the formula?
I guess they’ll also have to monitor for other causes, but sometimes, those conditions take a bit longer to diagnose.
Hope your little one gets well soon. It’s heartbreaking to have to bring your baby to hospital..
