do baby naturally know how to swim?

This is an interesting question. I always hear that babies arw natural swimmers as they still have the memories when they 'swim' inside the womb. Even saw on youtube videos where they just put their babies into water and they can swim by themselves. Really amazing. However according to research its can be true or false. Depends on how you look at it. Research shows that baby naturally has a pair of reflexes in water. 1) swimming reflex: If support baby tummy down in water, its arms and legs move in swimming motion. 2) Dive reflex: Able to hold breath and open eyes when in water. Both these will disappear after 6mths.
