How to let baby sleeps at babycot

My baby is one month plus old. The moment puts on baby cot, starts crying. However, put at rocker, can sleep on it. Any idea or tips ok how to let baby sleeps at the baby cot?

Same for my baby when she was a month old, but I was very firm so I just let her cry and tried for a few days and she finally get used to it.
