Binder after removing csect bandage

After removing waterproof bandage or any bandage covering our csect incision, can we still wear binder covering the incision ? Or no longer need

Yes, you can still wear your binder even after the bandage comes off, the incision being uncovered doesn't mean it can't have gentle support over it. From what I've generally heard, the key is to wear it low, sitting just under the belly to support the lower abdomen rather than pressing directly and harshly on the wound line itself. Most mums seem to keep it on for around 4 to 6 weeks, especially when up and moving around, and then gradually stop once the sharper pain settles, though honestly, I stopped earlier than that because mine started to feel uncomfortable and a bit sweaty around the incision area, so it really does vary from person to person. It does help with mobility and feeling less sore when you're walking or getting up, but do check with your own doctor first since every wound heals differently and they'll know best for your specific situation.
