I wasn't allowed to shower after birth. I was put on bed rest for the next 6 hours after birth. I'm not even allowed to go to the bathroom. Nurse will help me by my bedside if I need to urinate or pass motion. I had vaginal delivery with stitches for the tear and I took epidural too. Maybe it's cause of that.
