My 7yo school going daughter is quite forgetful and can misplace things or cannot remember some of things that happen in school that day. Is this common or should i consider having her seen a doctor?

I have the same issue with my 7yo! He remembers things to a T when he wants to, but other times, he will forget his water bottle, his wallet etc. When asked, he will smile and say "Oh sorry, I forgot, I'll check it tomorrow." But it keeps happening. I do agree with other mummies that kids have a lot on their minds and Pri 1 is a pretty volatile environment as opposed to kindergarten years. Let's give it time 😊 I've seen older primary school kids being very on top of things about their school activities and responsibilities.
