hitting pillow

my 7 month old baby will sometimes hit the bolster or softtoy that we gave him to hug. like small soft punches, is it normal? hes not disliking it that item thou. oh and he does tt too when bottle feeding.

It's a phase at that age where they learn more about their arms n movement. Just gently redirect them to a soft area so they can explore their limbs safely
