Maternity Leave

Since sanay na ako maging independent even before. Any advice or tips kung paano nyo na-overcome or na-handle yung situation as a working-mom and still a full-time mom? Gladly, hybrid-setup ng work ko, pero mas okay sana if pure WFH para mas matutukan ko din si baby. #workingMom #workingmomlife #firsttimemom

Hay alam ko na yan, napakahirap talaga ng transition especially pag first time mom pa, 4 months lang with baby tapos biglang trabaho ulit, parang ang bilis ng panahon! Honest lang, ang hybrid setup mo ay blessing na because at least you have some flexibility, pero I get why you want pure WFH; personally when I went back, I realized na mas okay kung may designated work hours kasi kahit na home, kailangan mo ring mag-focus at hindi yan possible kung laging interuppted ka ng baby needs. The real game-changer for me was: let go of the "full-time mom" mindset while working, you're doing both, hindi mo need perfection sa dalawa, settle for "good enough" sa each; prepare everything the night before (bottles, clothes, snacks para sa iyo) para less stress sa umaga; and communicate with your partner na division of labor talaga from day one, hindi "help" lang, kundi equal responsibility (lalo na nights and weekends). 7 days to prepare, so gamitin mo to set up your systems, hindi mag-stress last minute. You've got this, mama!
