Heart beat so fast

Am 21 weeks 6 days. Yesterday night when I sleep on my left side, I dream of my heart beat so fast and I woken up from sleep realising that my heart beat really vert fast. I sat up and relax a while before going to toilet, getting up feel a bit dizzy. Is this normal?

I read that your heart rate will increase while pregnant because your heart is working harder to pump a lot more blood around your body, around 45% more blood! I have confirmed this with my Apple Watch. My resting heart rate pre-pregnancy usually 47, these days it’s 60. So don’t worry! Just take deep breaths to calm down when it happens, and inform your gynae at your next appt and see what he/she says.
