Hi mama, According to scientific research and experts, the human female body produces breastmilk which contains a sufficient and what’s more, just the right amount of vitamins, minerals, proteins, fats and antibodies and so much more. I’m not saying formula milk is bad, but even the most expensive tin cannot imitate nor exactly emulate breastmilk no matter how hard they try. Your breastmilk changes from day to day and even within 1 feed to suit the needs of your baby. Here’s an article from Medela which tells you about the fabulosity of breastmilk: https://www.medela.com/breastfeeding/mums-journey/breast-milk-composition Here’s another from the World Health Organisation: https://www.who.int/health-topics/breastfeeding#tab=tab_1 I would advise you seek a second opinion as clearly, your PD or doctor isn’t advising you with updated information.

This is the first time I heard PD advises for babies to take vitamins for breastfed babies. Perhaps seek a second opinion?

don't think there's a need 1st time heard of this supplement I didn't even give any to my 3years old son

Super Mum

Have doctor explained to you why there’s a need for supplement?

Doctor said that breast milk does not contain enough vitamins unlike formula which already comes with the vitamins.
