Hey mama, it's totally normal to think about this now! Honestly, I was the same at 28 weeks with my first. What really helped me was going for antenatal classes (most polyclinics and KKH offer them) because they walk you through both scenarios and teach you breathing techniques that work regardless of how you deliver. I'd also suggest talking to your gynae about your concerns and birth preferences at your next checkup, because having a plan you feel good about makes a big difference to your mindset. Every delivery is different, so try not to stress too much about the pain part right now and instead focus on staying healthy, eating well, and getting good rest before the big day arrives.

My first was super painful and I went in blind. I knew I didn't want epidural or intervention but had no idea what to do when the pain hit. In the end epidural (failed twice) and still went ahead with natural and baby had issues too. Umm maybe start looking around for doula classes. I went to kkh class but still under prepared. Now second one incoming and super scared of any complications which usually leads to csect e.g. breech baby or preeclampsia. Im still so uninformed even with private gynae so if u have the money and time source out knowledge for the last lap. 😢
