Undescended testes is fairly common and happens in 1 in 20 kids. Usually happens if a baby is born premature or if there is family history of it. It often gets solved by itself by about 6 months. Otherwise there are options. There are surgeries that can be done to solve this. Often done on kids aged 6’months to 18 months. There is also hormone therapy. It’s important to get this fixed though. As if the testes does not descend this can cause infertility, higher risk of testicular cancer and other problems!
