Period like cramps

Hi, its 15 days past my 5 day embryo transfer. Got my positive HCG results yesterday but a bit worried as I have been having mild period like cramps. Is this normal? #firstbaby #ivf

Mild cramp like period is normal during the early stage of pregnancy.

Week 6 Ultrasound without Heartbeat/ Fetal pole

Hi, this is my ivf rainbow baby after first miscarriage anembryonic pregnancy. I'm rather worried this baby might suffer the same fate as I'm still not hearing the heartbeat/ seeing the fetal pole at 6 weeks. Does anyone have the same issue and still have a healthy pregnancy? #pregnancy #ivf

could be too early. i stressed myself out when the doctor said there was no fetal pole whatmore a heartbeat. crying for no reason and just unstable. waited 2-3 weeks more and i saw my little bean. i know its hard to be too happy. but try to stay positive. and wait it out.

Change of Gynae- IVF treatment

Hi, I am currently undergoing IVF treatment and I am wondering if its advisable to change my gynae and hospital if IVF is successful? Any recommendations for gynae who are also specialised in Ivf? Any factors I should consider before the changing gynae? Thank you so much. 🙏#advicepls #ivf

I also switched gynae after my IVF is successful. But I switch after the detailed scan is completed, reasons for delay for my case is I had previous miscarriages before. Do take note that some gynaes have a cut-off period to accept patients, so its better to check with the clinic after you have shortlisted them.

Small gestational sac, slow hcg

Hi all I am 6 wks 3 day preg today. My hcg levels were rising but not doubling previously. I did a scan at wk 5 and doc mention could see gestational sac but were smaller than expected. Another scan at wk 6 saw gestational sac(6mm) + yolk. The gestational sac measures 5wk 2 day old even though it was 6wk. Doc still say my gestational sac is too small. And is pessimistic about the situation saying I have less than 50 percent chance for a viable pregnancy. May I know if anyone has similar situation in the past with a sucessful pregnancy? hi i am in a similar situation as you. i just did my first scan and I was supposed to be measuring week 6 day 4 but my gestational sac measured only week 5 day 3. There was no yolk sac and heartbeat. Mine is a ivf case and the estimated date of week 6 should be very accurate and my doc said that I am measuring behind and advised that the pregnancy may not be viable. My betas were 169 and 1410 at 12dp5dt and 19dp5dt respectively and were low as per the doc. I am supposed to return for another scan next week. just wondering how did yours turned out if you don't mind sharing?

Did my IVF at SGH earlier this year and currently 25 weeks pregnant. Good luck for you upcoming IVF cycle! I was encouraged to eat more egg whites for better follicles growth before the egg retrieval process.
