husband is covid positive.

hello Mummies! my husband did a self ART test last 2 nights & it shows positive, he went to see a doctor last night & also PCR test shows positive is now awaiting for MOH to get back if he gets to do home recovery etc. however my main concern is that, if he still doesnt get well in these few days, will he be able to accompany me in the labour ward?🥺 im alr at 39wks today, alr having signs that labour is starting anytime soon. im rlly scared as he was around during my first labour, i tear everytime i think that i might need to face labour alone. oh, both my 1 year old & myself havent been in physical contact with him since Sunday as i decided to stay in with my mother since labour could happen anytime. do you think we should do an art test as well???😭

my cuzzin hubs positive covid a day before her delivery, so her sister accompany her during labour. may all goes well for you dear

thick discharge, 3cm dilated

hello Mummies! i went for my checkup last 2 days & doc said that i was 2cm dilated alr @ nearly 38weeks. then on the same night, i had bloody stool + thick discharge which caused me worry so i went to KKH @ 3am only to be sent home despite being 3cm dilated as they mentioned its normal since im constipated. both bloody stool & thick discharge has been going on since then, up till today. may i know, if any mummies experienced the same, how many days after did your waterbag burst or you went into labour? please advise!🥺

My mucus plus came out and about half an hour later my water bag broke. Was 3cm dilated alr.

cramps? gastric? braxton hicks?

hi mummies! im currently at 35weeks, lately ive been having this pain around my stomach that seems like gastric pain that comes & goes away. also to add on, my back aches so bad these days! this is my 2nd pregnancy, but never have i occured this during my 1st born. probably a few times yes. but this one, straight few days/nights & can get rlly uncomfortable. i was first induced & i dont remember how it rlly feels like having contractions. i wanna go to KKH everytime i cant take it because i dont know if its bad signs but i reside @ Woodlands & i dont want to waste money/time you seeee.

Is it more to painful or like tightening/squeezing feeling?

Baby Bonus for outwed babies.

Hello! Any mummies here has tried to re-apply for Baby Bonus cash gift, as during my child's birth we didnt get Married till recently now my baby is almost a year old. How is the procedure, where/what i should do & what is the waiting period if i can still apply? I already have a CDA account for my baby since birth anyways.#pleasehelp

hii, any mummies stopped breastfeeding & then start breastfeeding again after some time? i would loveee to breastfeed exclusively or at least most breastfeed than formula all the way. but my milk production isnt good, i stopped latching or pumping after 2 weeks giving birth as i feel rlly sad whenever i see my milk not even 10ml and my partner’s family has been asking me if i am still breastfeeding (they encouraged breastmilk than formula) and simply because of those questions i keep thinking i am not giving the best to my baby.. any advices on how i can restart breastfeeding after bottle feeding most of the time? how to boost milk production or reproduce milk which alr dries up..

You can try to eat milk booster foods. For me, I tried to consume alfalfa. The most important thing, you need to start having schedule to pump your milk. At least every 2 - 3 hours. Once have fixed daily routine to pump your breast milk, you can see that your amount of milk will increase.

I notified the birth using the Moments of Life app. The nurses will pass you the registration number in the ward. You can also fill in a form, which the nurses give you in the ward

40weeks & no signs!

Hi mummies! going 40weeks pregnant tomorrow, but still no signs of labour😭 these 2 days i have been experiencing sudden weakness, like i dont have the energy to stand or even raise my hand & shivers (felt nauseous & had mild cramps that goes off yesterday). called KKH Delivery suite last night, but the nurse didnt know why & advised me to come down however i dont really want to stay for long in the observation ward. i missed my appointment last 2 weeks & made a new one for coming Thurs. any advise? should i just walk in to Delivery suite or wait till my appointment? really worried now. 🥺 PS: i walked alot these days, i ate everything that i want to eat hahaha! howww

Hello mummies! I am already over 38wks, i have been having this backache throughout the entire night and its by far the worst i had between these days it feels very uncomfortable😭 any other mummies experienced this before?

Laundry, sterilise..

Hi mummies! I am a first time mother here, just wanna check in how do you wash your newborn clothes? i am using the washing machine as i do not have the energy & patience to hand wash.. do you seperate new & hands down or just wash them altogether is fine? and for new bottles, what are the ways you sterilise them?

I would wash the clothes seperately using kodomo detergent and softener . Bottles would wash and sterilize using pigeon bottle cleaner and sterilizer .
