Postnatal massage
Hi! My EDD is 6 Dec and hence I’m looking for postnatal massage recommendations. Tried to reach out to some but they either are not available, or only do breast massage. Looking for those that do massage at home / preferably ala carte/shorter package (in case it is not suitable….)? Anyone has any recs?
Emotional….
It’s 18 weeks for me, first-time mum to be. While the physical symptoms are much better, the emotions are a tough one to manage. I guess it’s a mixture of my own work (stressful, long days), feeling alone (we are planning and managing on our own since our families can’t really assist much), planning for what happens next (caregiving plans, duties, my own masters that is to be completed while I’m on maternity) and uncertainty (hubby may be changing job during the third trimester). I feel like an emotional wreck this week and was completely exhausted after some tough days at work. It’s hard to name these emotions / tell hubs about it - which tbh, he may not exactly understand either….. Any tips from anyone? 🥺
NUH gynae recommendations
Hi! Does anyone have NUH gynae recommendations? Thinking to upgrade later maybe after 20+ weeks but am not sure who to go for….
Studying in third trimester/during maternity leave
Hi all, I will have to complete my Masters along the pregnancy and I am aware it’s gonna be tough since I am also working part-time….. I am thinking of either taking : 1) 2 modules in the third trimester, 2 electives during maternity leave or 2) 1 module in the third trimester, 1 module + 2 electives during maternity leave I’ve been debating in my head and cannot come to a decision. Any mums / fresh mums with any advice? I’m currently in my second trimester with my first child so…..I have insufficient experience as you can tell……so advice on the above options with be helpful!
Anxious……..
I’m at 16 weeks but to be honest it worries me because at this point, the morning sickness/symptoms have mostly reduced and…1) I don’t feel much, 2) I don’t feel baby kicking and 3) my baby bump is…..very little (almost none, not sure if I’m imagining it at this point). I will only have my next appt at the 20th week so tbh, I’m not sure what to do with this newfound anxiety in this 4-week wait……. (Not to mention additional family things causing me extra stress/concerns….) Anyone has advice….?
Travel to Hokkaido at 22 weeks
Hi! I am wanting to travel to Hokkaido during the 22nd of pregnancy. Does anyone have any advice? A part of me is wondering if I should give up the travel (though I really want to go and not going makes me sad….) just to be on the safer side (I mean, it would be safe and it saves money as well….). It’s so hard to decide … So far, my pregnancy is pretty ok in terms of risk just that I guess as a first time mum, there’s that….anxiety….
First appointment
Hi all, I’m on my ?5th week and have gotten a polyclinic referral to NUH O&G. They have given me the appt for a month later (would be the 9th week). I’m having quite a bit of cramps (feels like mensus) without blood. Any experienced mamas who can share with me what to expect during the first appt? Thank you!
