Glucose monitoring device vs finger pricking

Hi mummies, anyone using the glucose monitoring device? I tried it for the first time then compared it with finger pricking. But the variance can be 2.0 for after dinner for few days and morning fasting seems ok. So I'm not sure if the glucose monitoring device is useful. Have been doing finger pricking everyday and 7 times so a lot of holes for 4 of my fingers. Kindly advice. #Needadvice #firsttimemom

I just learn to live with the holes lol

Hi mummies, I have diabetes on insulin and it's my first pregnancy about week 6+. Always feeling hungry and nausea. What can I eat and drink to feel full and eat as snacks without affecting my sugar.? #firsttimemom

I will suggest looking for dietician to plan your meals so you can get a balanced and filling diet. However, some foods that doesn't raise blood sugar that much are: 1) leafy vegetables 2) Nuts 3) Chia Seeds 4) Eggs 5) Avocados 6) Unsweetened Yoghurt 7) Berries (eg. strawberries/raspberries/blueberries/blackberries) 8) Fish (esp. Salmon, Trout, mackerel, halibut)

Is it safe to breathe essential oils in a diffuser? Currently 4 weeks pregnant.. it helps me to sleep better

depends on the oils you use. some oils are fine. I accidentally used clove oil (it's intended for my son and we cosleep) and it triggered uterine contractions. had bleeding the next morning.

Anyone been taking ozempic and then got pregnant?

Change in due date

Anyone has the same situation that the EDD change? Based on my 1st day last period should be 3 Feb and supposed to be 8 weeks but just their estimation. 2 weeks ago my edd is 15 Nov, doctor say about 5+6 weeks. This week changed to 20-22 Nov. Doctor say smaller than his expectation, now seems to be 6 weeks only. But baby still did grow from last scan. But I believe I conceive during 13 to 22 Feb only. So what's right what's wrong? I'm confused and worry.

EDD on scan will change thru out based on baby’s growth and it’s normal. You can just follow the first EDD😊. I gave birth 3 days after my first EDD.
