Watery stools / diarrhea
Hi mummies! I have been experiencing watery stools more commonly during pregnancy. Anyone know what medicine or any food that is appropriate to take / cures it better during pregnancy? Does charcoal pills work? Po chai pills used to work for me pre-pregnancy but it’s highly not advisable to take during pregnancy. Thanks in advance!!
Tests offered at KKH
Hey fellow mummies, I was provided the option of these three optional tests offered at KKH: 1. Maternal Cytomegalovirus (CMV) Screening 2. Down Syndrome Screening (FTS, NIPT) 3. Pre-Eclampsia Screening As a first time mum and wanting to have that peace of mind, I opted to do all three tests. Wanted to ask, if any of the mummies here did the tests and regret the choices made cause of the results, financial, or any other aspects. And roughly would you be able to provide a rough estimate cost of these tests (Im on subsidised route). Thanks in advance!
Anyone same as me?
Hey mummies, Im a real foodie before pregnancy. Fast food, sushi, spicy food are all my favourites. Now that Im pregnant, people around me are asking me to eat healthily. I have been on a healthy diet during the first 5 weeks of pregnancy, but I cant stop thinking about having unhealthy food and I got so sick just thinking about having healthy food. During week 6, I sort of gave up and had fried chicken. Believe it or not, I was crying while eating just simply because I was feeling so guilty. Satisfying my own craving while risking about not bringing any nutrients to the developing baby. Im feeling rather depressed that I cant eat what I want now just because I need to think about the developing baby. Any mummies feel the same?
