LO turned 1 and the PD suggested that we switch to fresh cow's milk or UHT instead of FM as FM has more sugar. Anyone has made the switch? And how did you go about arranging using fresh milk as compared to giving FM powder when going to IFC?

Toys to bring out

Any suggestion on what toys to bring out for babies (10mth onwards), be it to play outside at restaurants or in car? Thanks!

Thinking of a trip with LO in dec (LO will be 13+mths by then). Any suggestions where suitable?

Hi, have been doing direct latching until now LO 5mths old going IFC... so gotta pump EBM for LO to bring to sch to drink during the day. It seems like LO is rejecting BM in bottle at IFC (teacher said change of clothes due to drool but the bib smells of milk. Tried feeding him a bottle myself and saw him resisting it and got spit out milk onto bib.) There are occasions that he keeps on latching on off and crying, but after he rejected the bottle he was fine doing direct latching... Unlikely to be nipple confusion as we do feed him FM once every night before his bedtime. Could it be that the EBM is too watery or any possible reason he doesn't want BM from bottle? Any sugg how to make milk thicker too? Thanks!

How about sizing down the teats to see if it’s better for him? Cause bm are more watery compared to FM so the flow might be faster.

Baby refusing breastmilk

Did not have any breastmilk for first 4 days and baby was at risk of jaudice coz no intake. So we started giving formula milk. Now that BM has kicked in, we wanted feed baby BM together with FM (coz BM amount still very low) but baby is rejecting the BM (cries when we feed BM), so we mixed BM and FM. After an hour of feeding, baby kept crying... how to get baby to go back to BM and away from FM? Would like to exclusively feed BM after amount is huge enough to support full BF.

Anyone taking Hi-dcal pills?

Hi, anyone taking this hi-dcal pills? I need to take 1000mg of calcium and I see this is supposed to have 1000mg per pill but yet the front label indicates 400mg.
