Is my 4 month old shy or is this normal?

Hi, my bub is almost 4 months now and we’ve noticed that eventhough she’s really chatty in the bedroom with my husband & I, she doesn’t really make any sounds when she’s with other people. We live in a large household and yet the others rarely hear her chatter, laughter and squeals. Is this normal?

you can get her exposed more with family members in the household, when she's comfortable she'll eventually open up

Gain weight in pregnancy.

I’m in week 29 and I’ve gained 2kg and my baby is 1.1kg. Doctor is concerned that I’ve not gained enough weight though my baby is growing well. I don’t really restrict my diet and have been drinking milk, eating loads of desserts and durians. I also exercise moderately with yoga and swimming at least 3 times a week How can I gain weight? I’ve always had high metabolism so gaining weight with food isn’t that easy for me..

Climbing stairs

At what point of a pregnancy will it be difficult to climb/descend from stairs? I will need to move to the first floor of my house before baby arrives and wanna know when I should plan to do that. Thanks!

Gynaecologist Package?

My gynae offers a package of 10 appts starting from 20 weeks. Based on your experiences, did you utilize all 10 appts by EDD?

No weight gain?

I’m 20 weeks now and I haven’t gained weight at all since my first appointment. Should I be worried? I do eat enough daily and rarely vomit out my food even in my first trimester.

I drive a 2-door 2013 Mini Cooper and am starting to get worried about the trouble I’m going to have putting my baby in the back when the time comes. Does anyone have suggestions on the car seat model I should look at?

Confinement food practices (Malay)

Hi, I don’t intend to get a confinement lady/tingkat service as I have a helper & mother to assist & cook for me. What are the things to take note of for confinement food though so I can prepare a “menu” in advance for my helper? Thanks!

Muscle tension/pain

Hi everyone, I’m in my 5th week and I’m feeling a lot of muscle pain in behind my knees, thigh and arch of my feet. I’ve been using compression socks which alleviates the pain but not sure what else I can do since I’ve heard that it’s not encouraged for pregnant women to go for massage or use salon pas. I already go for regular chiropractic sessions (since before pregnancy) but my next session is only in another 2 weeks. Any tips would be appreciated! Thank you!

Soak your feet with warm water add one bit plam size of salt. Hope it works.

Parkway East Gynaecologist

Hi everyone, Just found out that I am pregnant and I’m trying to look for a gynaecologist to arrange for my first appointment. My husband and I would prefer to deliver at Parkway East since it’s near our home. We’re currently deciding between Doctor Lubna and Doctor Heng Tung Lan (she is my mother’s preference since she was also my mother’s gynaecologist) . Does anyone have any reviews of these 2 doctors from past experiences & if you can share how much it costs for the appointments? Thank you!
