New parent to a set of twins
pimple on areola
Hi mummies. Im currently breastfeeding and recently, ive been feeling pain on my right boob. Turns out there is a pimple on my right areola. Ive been trying to read up about it but it gets me more confuse. Anyone knows what it means and what can i do to manage it cos its quite painful.
pacifiers
Is there an appropriate age to start giving pacifiers? My LOs are 3 weeks old and my husb keeps insisting on giving them when they cry. And they do cry a lot esp at night. My girl is colicky and tends to want to suck all the time. My boy doesnt but he cries and wants to be carried all the time at night.
FM milk
How much milk should a 3 wks old newborn be drinking? Polyclininc Doc suggested to feed my LO 40ml every 2 to 3 hrs but it seems like she gets hungry and cries in an hr. Before that, i used to feed her 60 to 70ml. But she has very bad reflux and vomits the milk back out even after burping.
Watery Poo
My 2 wks old newborn poops quite frequently but it is very watery. Should i be concerned? And what causes it? She is breastfed and on formula as i find it challenging to bf 2 newborn while still recovering from csect.
Fasting at 34 weeks
Do you guys think i can still fast at 34 weeks preggy and with twins? Or advisable not to?
Twins fetal movement
At the beginning, my baby girl moves a lot more than my baby boy. But recently, baby boy is a lot more active than baby girl. And she really moves a lot lesser. Should i be worried? Im 2 days away from meeting my gynae again.
Breech babies
At week 31 now and I just found out that both my babies are still in breech position. Should i be worried?
Kick count
Im 30 wks in and i know the kick count is important. But how do i do it with twins? Cos there are times i dont know who is the one kicking.
Soup incident
Accidentally scalded my tummy today when i spilled my hot soup on it. My skin hurts but babies should be fine right?
Shortness of breath
In 29 wks pregnant with twins and i know they said shortness of breath is normal by now. But it's quite bad for me that even when im standing for a few minutes, i have to catch my breath. Sitting comfortable is a struggle too. Working in the early childhood industry isnt easy either. I went to KKH and they gave me 5 days mc to rest but its coming to an end and i still feel the same. Any tips of managing? I've done stretching, breathing exercises but still the same.
