Booking of A ward at KKH

Are we able to call and book an A ward room for delivery at KKH? or we can only book when we go down for the next appt after we reach 36 weeks?

35 weeks decreased kicks

Is it normal to feel lesser kicks at 35 weeks because there's lesser space for baby to move? Not sure if it's just me or I feel that baby is moving lesser than usual today..

Hi mama, Yes, at 35 weeks, there isn’t much space to move. Try drink ice water or even poking the tummy to wake baby up a little. If kicks are a lot lesser, do call in to your obgyn who will prob then schedule you for a CTG just to make sure baby is okay :)

Stomach tightening

Is it normal for stomach to tighten the whole day? Have been experiencing this since Sunday morning. No pain or contractions on Tummy. just tightening . Currently 35 weeks

Braxton hicks and it's normal unless there's pain and the frequency then call the hospital to inform them before heading down.

no that's rubbish! please check with mom website or give them a call if you're unsure, but don't let your employer take advantage of you!

KKH VISITING POLICY

Any mummies gave birth at KKH recently? Is husband allowed to stay all the way in normal ward or A1 ward if he is fully vaccinated and how many visitors can we have ?

Hi! For A1 ward, husband is allowed to stay all the way, but not for the other normal wards. Due to covid, no visitors are allowed, except for your husband.

Induce of pregnant at 38-39 weeks

Is it possible to ask doctor to induce my pregnancy at 38 weeks and do natural birth even when cervix is not dilated? Because I don't wish to wait til 40 weeks as I'm afraid baby will be too big and I'll need to do a c section.
