Baby sleep more drink less

I feed on demand. They will wake up and cry for milk when they are hungry.

Handsfree Breast pump

Hi mummies, I have been using handsfree breast pump to pump breast milk, 2 side in 1 time. And started to feel uncomfortable, either listening to the sound of the machine pumping or feeling the pump on my breast. Any mummy encounter the same? Please share your experience. Being emotional after birth

Is it normal to be emotional after birth? Ever since birth, when I watch any tragedy movie or drama that relates to life and death of family member will make me wanted to cry or emotional. I will keep think back the scene when I give birth to my baby. God bless she is alright. But to my symptom Is it normal?

Hello Janice! Congratulations on the birth of your baby girl 🥰 It is totally normal, even during pregnancy. It’s the hormones. Probably because I’m a mum (both fur kids and human) now, I understand and feel it more while watching sad videos/shows of small kids & pets. Err 感同身受..

Induced labour, without epidural

I induced..once get interval of contraction become v fast., i asked for epidural, but they didn’t gave it to me as they said no point, openning to big and baby can come out anytime soon..so yeah..feel the pain till i can’t feel anything

Induced labour process

Hi mummies, this is my first pregnancy. Can anyone share more details on your induced labour process? This Thur 11pm I will admit to the Thomson hospital, will they start to give me induced medicine once I am in the hospital and let contractions start over nite or how is the process? Is breaking the water bag a must so that contractions will start? Or how they do? #1stimemom #pleasehelp #firstbaby #advicepls #pregnancy

I admitted myself at 11pm, went up to the ward, changed into gown and they will do the CTG scan to track your contractions as well as baby’s heartbeat. They will proceed to run through any medical history and issues then subsequently check for dilation as well as insertion of the first pill. If you cannot tahan the contractions, use the laughing gas. If you think you can tahan all the way till then epidural is not needed. After 3 hours I was wheeled to delivery suite where IV and epidural was given to me. I rest for another 2plus hours and they checked for dilation (7cm and my waterbag just broke at this moment) and taught me how to push. Final push was done by gynae. So overall admission to labour took 6 hours.

Invoices to claim $900 Medisave Admission letter & IC Phone charger with long cables Optional: 1 x Kotex disposable panties (If you don’t mind the hospital big pad then not needed) Breast pump (If you intend to let LC teach you how to use) I wear back the clothings I went in with, baby wears the whole set provided by TMC. Depending on which ward you’re staying, you may need to bring toiletries if you’re sharing room. I stayed in single room hence almost everything was provided.
