My husband smokes about 10 cigarettes a day. He has tried to quit in the past but has been unsuccessful. His smoking increases with stress and lately there has been a lot of stress in his office. I don't like to nag him always but want to help him with quitting. Any tips?

Unromantic hubby

My husband is a very nice man but unromantic. He never surprises me with flowers, chocolates, or wild sex. I crave for these things. He says all these are simply drama. Feeling sad..

You said your husband is a nice man. It means he cares about you, is sensitive towards your needs. All men are not demonstrative or romantic. For them romance means being together without any display of it! You can take initiative and plan surprise dinner, drive, or weekend for him. Make him realize these little gestures bring back the spark in a monotonous marriage.

Parents, do you feel you're almost out of things to talk about with your spouse? Is this normal?

Have not reached that point yet. There's always something to talk about or reminisce. I suppose it's not normal at least for me and my hubby.

I'm going for status conference regarding the custody without a lawyer. (Infant Guardianship, not divorce yet) May I ask for Counselling and mediation at the Child Focused Resolution Centre (CFRC) first before hiring a lawyer? Hope to resolve the issue amicably. how is it like?

My FIL sometimes shoots out of his hip and doesn't realise the hurtful things he sometimes says. However, my husband doesn't seem to mind it. How should I deal with situation and ask my FIL to just "be quiet!"
