MIL took my newborn out while I was sleeping. Call her and she said bring the bb out for her xmas gathering. Gone for few hours now and she didn't even bring diapers and milk powder. How do I tell her not to do that again?! This is really frustrating!

Just a random musing, most people say having baby can save a failing relationship. I have never been able to understand this. Is it true, does that work?

My inlaws have been constantly commenting on planning a child. Sometimes they bring it up indirectly in front of other relatives also, it has become really frustrating. Me and my husband have talked on this and we want to wait for some time. Moreover, I think this is totally both of our's decision and nobody else's. How should I deal with my inlaws' incessant questioning? Please help!

I'm a big fan of candor. I encourage you to have an open and honest conversation as a unit (hubby and wife) with the in-laws about your stance in having children. If they are the adults we should hope they are, they will respect your choice. If not, think of a happy place instead the next time they ask to lessen the aggravation :)

Hi my parents in law have been of great help in helping me to take care of my kids as I am a working mum. But my mother in law likes to make noise about how I run the household and also scold my helper when she doesn't do things her way. I don't want my helper to get pissed off at her and am also afraid that she will not want to work for us. Any tips? Should I get my helper to listen to her and do things her way or do things my way?
