Hi mummies, just wondering is it ok to switch around a few milk powder brands to use, if your toddler (1 year old) appears to be able to take them all? Are there any benefits to this?

Ok.. Nothing to worry mummy. I did the same. Used many brands for my son. Except Enfamil, he accepted all like friso, nan, aptamil, similac. So I just focussed on offers in expos. Can save money.....

Childcare or Extracurricular

Hi my daughter is already 3years and 3months and we were thinking of putting her on childcare(halfday) since I am not working. My husband and I are still hesitant, thinking we should put her probably on March and just enroll her on extra curricular activities especially on Music (she even requested for it). What do you think Mums and Dads?

I think you should do both. Frankly childcare / preschool and enrichment are different things. If she likes music then I would def send her for music classes.

Bringing my 1 year 3 months toddler to Taipei in January

This is my first time bringing my 1 year 3 months lo to Taipei in January. I know it's going to be cold like 13° to 17°. I have a lot of questions to ask .. 1) What should I take note of when going winter country with lo? 2) I bringing one tin of milk powder there is it enough? I going for 9 days. 3) How to dress my lo so he won't feel cold? He hate wearing hats must I put the sweater hat on him? Worried he will take it off. 4) my husband only buy ticket flying over there, asking me to only bring 2 hand carry bags and other stuff if need buy from there. I think taiwan stuff should be safe to eat right? And baby clothes?? 5) how to survive 5 hrs flight with my LO on my lap? Pls advice me ....

i brought my lo at about 8 months old to taiwan . Its cooling but to avoid ocean or sea area for strong winds. Its really inconvenience for you to bring just hand carry bags. You will still have to carry baby stuff.. Why not consider carrying a luggage ? Prepared baby snacks and milk before flight. Usually baby sleep in flight . As for water i dont advise you to drink their tap water . Its better you boil nottled water . As their water in certain part of the place is dirty

My lo is14mths but shes still not walking without suport. Should i be worried?

Has she attempted 1-2 steps independently ? Don’t worry , my LO only started walking independently at 15 months . After that , he started running n now I got to chase after him :) sometimes they just take a little longer to achieve the walking milestone but they will get there anyway :)

Anyone brought their toddler to the Netherlands in February before? How was the weather like? I'm bringing my one year old toddler to the Netherlands come Feb, not sure how cold it would be and if toddlers can take such cold weather

I actually went down to Amsterdam last April and it was really cold! I do suggest you pack for 11° till 2° - the nights were cooler, also the time i went it was raining so i dont suggest that. So try avoiding rainy days when planning your trip

Hi...I suspect my 21mo toddler has injured her wrist due to pulling of her hand..cos she resisted to stand properly so i held her hand to stand and there's a pop at her wrist but she didn't cry badly just on and off and refuse to use that hand.... She's asleep now and I observe there is some swelling n redness. Should I bring her to mount a clinic or pd?

I would suggest to bring her to the pd first to access the situation, and let the pd decide if it is necessary to bring her to the hospital.

Hi Mummies & Daddies, My son is already 20mo but he has yet to talk. He can only say 'Papa', 'Mama', 'Jie Jie' & '臭臭'. According to PD, he has to say two words like 'Don't Want' by 2yo. Is there any problems in him? Does he need to see a speech therapist?

Einstein only started to talk at 3. Hope that gives you comfort. It also is no harm to see a speech therapist :)

Hi, my daughter who is 3yrs and 2mos now and I’m really worried coz she is still wearing diaper. I told her that if she wants to pee, she let me know so we can go to the toilet. She will actually but after peeing on the floor. Any tips Moms and Dads? Thank u

You may want to try getting her some panties, and when you're at home, let her go diaperless. Tell her, if you need to pee or poop, let daddy/mummy/whoever know. Yes, there may be "accidents" initially, but wearing a panties helps her to be more aware she's peeing cos she will feel wet, and there will be pee on the floor. If she's wearing a diaper, she'll conveniently ignore the need to go to the loo cos there's no need to. Once she tells you she wants to pee (even if it leaks or she has already pee-ed), bring her to her potty, so she knows that's where you need to go when you need to pee. hope this helps! :)

Hi mummies, My LO has an upcoming concert performance n the teachers need us to put on make up for the kids. Is my make up kit suitable for their baby skin? Any other brands which r kids friendly to recommend? Imagine we still need to remove their make up. I reali wonder if he can use mine...
