14 month old still sleeps like a newborn

Hi. My baby still keeps on waking up like 2 or 3 times at wee hours to drink milk. She’s already 14 months old but her sleeping and drinking pattern is still like when she was a newborn baby. Is there a way I can change this pattern?

Is ur baby taking solids before bed time .. if so it will helps longer nap .

HFMD on 15 month old

15 month old son currently suffering from HFMD. Since he got ulcers and sore throat in his mouth, he dont want to drink milk since today 1am. Lucky he still able to eat bit not much. But worried me he gonna suffer dehydration. Is there anyonw who could help me on this? First time mama and encounter this.

Try yogurt, ice cream and cold milk. Juices help too.

Can recommend? I want my children to learn English and Mandarin while having fun at school too. Going back to work soon :(

Hi, anyone have toddler with this before? Its a small lump at the anus due to constipation, happened on girls usually. Does it go away itself? Or must see doctor for treatment?

Oral thrush or not?

My 17 months old baby has this white thingy on both his upper & lower lips. I tried wiping it off but it is still there. His inner mouth is alright. Im not sure if its oral thrush though, cause my baby didnt budge or showed signs of in pain. What i read about oral thrush is that it is painful etc. It is just that white thing on the lips. Any mummies know what that is? What should i do? Is it alarming? Im a 1st time mummy. Please help. TIA.

Oral thrush appears as milky, white patches on the insides of a child's cheeks, tongue or lips and cannot be wiped away easily, as the infection is under the skin. The patches might also appear red or inflamed. Usually, the infection doesn't cause irritation, however if the mouth area is very red and raw, it might be hard for your child to eat. Another sign that your child may have an oral thrush infection is drooling. Thrush can also appear in the nappy area. To be sure, get your PD to check on baby especially if it is hurting. Your doctor can prescribe your child antifungal drops or gel to help manage the infection. If you are breastfeeding, your doctor might also prescribe an antifungal gel for your nipples. This is because you might be spreading the infection to your child when feeding. You can continue to breastfeed as usual if your baby has oral thrush.

My 26 mo toddler has been waking up crying/fussing every single night between 3-4am, no matter she sleeps as early as 9.30 or as late as 1230am. We have been battling with this for the past one week. Nothing has changed at home.

dont worry mommy, this age usually its ngiht terror age. its a phase. it is important to just be there to monitor and wait it out. just ensure your lo does not hurt herself ok. i would recommend you not try to wake her up as it will prolong the ordeal. usually within 15-30min toddler will go back to sleep like nothing happened :)

Delayed milestones & Rotating of wrist

Hi mummies out there, i am extremely worried and concern about my baby’s growth. He is currently almost 15 months old. Unable to walk on his own but can stand and walk with support. He is also still not waving, clapping & point with his hands. Recently i realised he like to stare at his hands , open & close them and then twist his wrist. Everything i googled scares me greatly. He is quite a smiley and cheerful baby, although i have to admit he does not show much eye contact with other babies and sometimes even to me as well. Are there any parents out there facing similar issue? I am not ready to accept anything from google yet because i still feel that he is a happy baby and not totally like how to internet is describing

I understand your worry. Maybe you can visit polyclinic for some referral to find out. I do have friends baby that slow in walking.

Which stage 3 formula is recommended?

My LO used to be on Enfa but they had recently upgraded their formula. The new formula seems to be stickier and my LO started to get phlegm more easily. Looking to try a different formula to see if it helps. Much appreciate!
