Looking for a preschool that focuses strongly on Mandarin. Any recommendation?

Surprised no one said Nanyang Kindergarten. The school only has nursery curriculum 100% in Chinese. Another kindy focused on chinese is Newton Kindergarten.

When should I put my child in preschool? 18 months, 2 years old or 3 years old?

from 18 months to 2 years, but not for more than 2-3 hrs. This ensures they play and understand socializing. but not long enough to get over tired and anxious bout separation

What is all this hype about flash card memorisation and mental mathematical abilities? Does it really help? Does it affect the child's brain? Or is it all rubbish? I've heard my Aunty go on and on about this and how her grandson is insanely smart due to flash cards and at the same time I've heard that it's all nonsense. What' do you ladies think?

My 2 year old never went through flash card training. His memory is better than mine. Really. I get so amazed by him sometimes. Don't believe in the hype! I agree with Dr Quek's comment!!

What do you think about redshirting your child for primary school? Do I have the option of delaying my child's primary school education for a year (i.e. starting primary sch at age of 8)?

My 4yr old son is currently in childcare and im planning to send my younger son 2yrs old to the same childcare soon. The childcare centre is a bus ride and 2 mrt stops away frm my house. My mum or mil helps to fetch them frm sch. Its gonna be hard for them to fetch 2 active boys back home on public transport. Any tips?

check if they provide school bus. or u can get ur mom or Mil to use the pram for both to sit together.
