PLSVC persistent left superior vena cava

Anyone has experience to share about baby being diagnosed with PLSVC? I am 20 weeks pregnant and during detailed scan it was discovered that my baby has a persistent left superior vena cava. Doctor did not detect any heart defects on baby and amniocentesis results was good and no issues. But I am worried and not sure what to expect after baby is born.

My baby was flagged with a finding during the detailed scan too, mummy, and I remember how worried I felt waiting for answers 😢 From what you've shared, it's reassuring that no heart defects were found and the amnio results were normal. ❤️ I know it's easier said than done, but try to take comfort in those positive findings. Hopefully other mums with experience with PLSVC can share too. Wishing you and baby all the best 🤍

Miscarriage - Bleeding for 4 weeks & faintly positive pregnancy test

I miscarried very early on at about 5 weeks, confirmed by doctor when my HCG fell from 105 - 80 ul/l which was very low to begin with. However I’ve been bleeding & spotting on and off for over 4 weeks and my home pregnancy tests are still coming up as faintly positive. Is this normal? And when is it ok for us to start trying again? #miscarriage

Which post natal massage is good?

Is 10 sessions enough for the post partum loss of weight ? Which one would you recommend and why? #advice

Honestly, for postnatal massage and weight loss, 10 sessions can be a reasonable start but it really depends on your body, some mums see good water retention reduction by session 5 or 6, while others feel they needed closer to 15 to notice a real difference in bloating and slimming. Someone in my mum group mentioned PNSG by name, saying their package mixes postnatal, slimming, and relaxation massages across 90-minute home sessions, which is quite convenient when you're still recovering and can't travel easily. Madam Partum and AllTenTic also came up as popular choices, with AllTenTic offering extras like heated stone therapy and lactation massage bundled in, which is useful if breastfeeding support is also a priority for you. My lean would be to look for a package that combines both postnatal recovery and slimming techniques rather than pure relaxation, since those tend to target water retention more effectively, but do check that the therapist is experienced specifically with postpartum bodies, because technique really matters here.

Hi mummies, dr told me to cut carb and eat protein. No rice & no bread. But i dont eat chicken, beef & meat. Not a fan of fish either. What other protein food can i eat, imma vegetarian. Cant consume prenatal milk as i have diabetes.

Peckish all the time

2nd pregnancy, symptoms much more manageable than the first and i'm feeling peckish all the time for strong flavoured food. Gained weight much faster this time round compared to the first. About 5 months pregnant now. Is more weight gain expected for 2nd pregnancy usually? Or just that my appetite is better than when I carried my first...

Low amniotic fluid and small abdominal circumference at 28+2weeks

Went for growth scan and my amniotic fluid is low, at 8.1cm, baby's abdominal circumference is measuring small in the 7th percentile and fetal weight is 1043g at 12th percentile. My dr said it could be due to underlying placenta issues and may have to induce at 37 weeks if that's the case and wants to do a rescan in a week to monitor. Any moms have advice or experience on this? Any ways to increase amniotic fluid and increase abdominal circumference? #firsttimemom
