Review about clarins stretch mark control

Hi everyone, I know a lot of mummies rave about the clarins stretch mark control cream. I would like how you all apply the product? I just bought the beautiful mum set but the instructions recommended to wash off the tonic oil after applying. It’s a bit of a hassle I thought. Do you all use the tonic body treatment oil and the stretch mark minimizer cream together? If I’m not going to wash off the tonic oil, is it ok to apply the cream after I apply the oil?

I applied oil then clarins stretch mark control. Didn’t wipe off.

Pre-eclampsia Study

Went to NUH fetal care center and someone ask to participate in study for pre-ecmapsia, just need to take another 2 tubes of blood. Is it normal?

Natural or c-sect delivery

Baby weight at 3.2kg during 37 weeks, gynae mentioned baby is at big size, should i try natural delivery or go for c-sect delivery ? And what is the final bill charges ? #1stimemom

Try natural. I have a friend who is petite but her children are all big sizes when born at 4kg +. She gave birth to all naturally. Unless there's complication then opt for c-sect.

1st NUH appointment costs $42.65 today. Doctor consultation and first scan.

Wondering how much would other hospitals charge? Especially private hospital? Is it very expensive?

Mine at Thomson Medical was around $230 for first visit consult and transvaginal scan!

Hi fellow mummies, i would like to ask for your views on first trimester screenings and non invasive prenatal tests (NIPT) to test for genetic disorders or risk of pre-eclampsia. I’m 8 weeks and currently contemplating if I should get these tests done. The prices of these tests range from $400-1200 each, no small amount😔 I’m in a dilemma if the tests would be worth as regardless, I will not choose abortion.

if you will not choose abortion, i think the basic FTS will do for you

Maternity clothings recommendations

Where do you guys purchase your maternity / bump friendly outfits? Please share the website / store / instagram!!! So far I’ve been buying from Shein and would like to explore more. #firsttimemom #advicepls

I just upsize normal clothings. Eg instead of S, I would size up to L to accommodate my growing bump. But I would advise to just go for oversized Tshirts, at least you can still wear them after birth (after you shrink back).

Don't worry. As long as baby is healthy. I didn't put on much weight during all 3 pregnancies but babies came out with pretty good weight and healthy. 🥰

Types Down Syndromes tests available

I’m 41 this year and at 5.4 weeks in my 1st trimester now. Has 2 healthy boys through normal delivery. Due to my age, I would like to know what are the options / series of tests available to test for Down Syndromes / abnormalities development. Any suggestions? What are the tests that the Dr will advise to go for ? Thank you for the advises if any.

I’m a FTM and struggling to find healthy options at hawker centers. Aside from yong tau foo and fish soup, do you have suggestions on what I can order from hawker stalls? I don’t eat beef and only recently learned to eat some veggies 🥲 #hawkerfood #nutrition

I just eat whatever I feel like it, chicken rice, duck rice, caipeng....but whenever I can, I try to cook and make my own soup at home. But I had no issues, no GD, baby born full term healthy at 3.2kg, didn't even have jaundice...

Hi Mommies ❤️ Do yall feel cramps at the first tri of ur pregnancy ? And how long did it went away ? And how did it feels like ? I'm having a little cramp on n off right now at week 9 .
