Mucus plug dropped and pink blood now for 1 day now. Should I wait or go hospital?

I am at week 38 now. My mucus plug came out not all at once but little by little twice, followed by little pink blood for a day and didnt stop. I do not have regular contraction, just some menstrual like cramp. Do I need to go hospital immediately? Any mummy experience pink blood like me? Is it normal?

Mine was brown blood then red. But the red lasted a few days. If worried can check wif ur gynae? I only had very bad tail bone pain that time…

How long csect gets managable

How long will csection incision and pain get better ? To the point you dont have to rely on painkiller. Is it normal the first day its super painful you cannot even move literally bedridden. And usually the first few days do you sleep lay flat or your upoer half body slightly elevated #firstbaby #FTM

I stopped painkillers after week 2 (day 15 onwards). First day shouldn’t be that painful cos you will still be on epidural and it won’t wear off so quickly. + the won’t let you down the bed on the first day. I slept on my side and back, elevated when I was in the hospital and just flat down when I was back home. Overall it wasn’t pain pain, it was just ache kind of pain. Not as bad as it seems really. And I have 0 pain tolerance. I only cried when they were injecting the epidural cos that was painful for me.

Csection incision sting

Just went thru csection and seems like painkiller is not helping. Is it normal that csect scar stings on first day ?

I would say so, it’s a wound.

Baby is on smaller side

Hi mummies, I’m currently week 36 and baby is only 2.1kg. Baby has always been on the smaller side (around 15-20 percentile) but this week’s scan is only around 5th percentile. Doctor say don’t have to worry too much since me and my hub are quite petite as well. Any mummies who are also experiencing this and what can i do so that baby grows more? #advicepls #FTM

My friend said she ate a lot of avocados and durians and her bb gained weight :)

ok to install window grill when pregnant?

I'm currently 27 weeks pregnant and had arranged for contractor to install the window grill before the baby comes out. Was advised against it by my mum and in law. Anybody had same experience?

Then install the grill after baby out. To avoid nagging and subsequent guilt if any thing were to happen.

Any mummies went thru failed induce can share me your story? Or any success story able to deliver normally after 2nd induction. I was induced cervidil for 24hr and only dilated 1cm altho my contraction is very close apart and very painful and gynae just gave me a prostin pill induce in hoping ill atleast dilate to 3cm. However i feel like i have no hope in dilating further and higher chance to have to go emergency c-section. And im also scared too much induction will harm baby. #firstbaby #FTM #advicepls

Hi mama I am 6 months postpartum. I was induced on 7th March at 9.30pm, felt gradual stronger contractions around 11pm 😅 I failed to dilate even though I was inserted cervidil twice. I got an epidural on 9th March afternoon when the doctors THOUGHT I was 3cm dilated(turns out I was barely dilated 😑) But it took ALL the pain away. Ended up with an emergency c section on 9th March 7.30pm. So my labour was around 40hours. But my c sect was smooth! The only thing that hurt was my left wrist cos of the needle. Otherwise the only thing I felt was anxiousness to see my baby when I heard her cry. Recovery was smooth. My husband helped me bathed with warm water when I got home cos there were blood stains from the cervix checks/water bag burst and nobody cleaned me at the hosp(kkh sub class c). Sometimes my wound area hurts when I laugh or cough too much, but otherwise everything is fine! i have random back pains but I guess its just my body problems. Don't worry too much. Its all worth it I swear 😘✨

C section story/recovery

Hi mummies, due to failed induce, there’s high chance ill be doing emergency csect. The thing I fear the most, for someone who have zero pain tolerance. Can mummies share you csection story, the pain level and how long you took to recover #FTM #firstbaby

I’m a 5 mth pp c sect mom, also a ftm. Tbh, the whole C-section process was a breeze, didn’t feel any pain, maybe just a little bit when they put that needle thing on my wrist. My most fear was the spinal injection but i didn’t feel a thing. Maybe the anaesthetist is very good at her job. Walking on the second day is a challenge but manageable with the help of painkillers. Just take all the time you need to get off the bed and move really slowwwwwwly. Discharged and went home on the fourth day I think, I could walk and even climb up and down the stairs, use the toilet and wipe my body clean (I didn’t shower during confinement), no problem at all, with painkillers of course. Getting up from bed and lying on it is tricky but again, manageable. I placed a sofa stool next to my bed to help myself with the movement (my bed is high). Overall, my recovery is a smooth one, no bleeding from the wound or any complications. Just apply the scar gel given by my gynae. Hope it helps to relax you a bit.
