Little red @ csection

Is it normal for csection to still be a little red along the scar line ? I am a month PP. scar is dry.

Yes lah at one month postpartum it is quite normal for the csect scar to still look a little red along the scar line because the skin is still in the healing process! The redness usually slowly fades over the next few months and eventually the scar will turn into a lighter pinkish then whitish colour, so don't worry too much as long as the scar is dry and not oozing anything. But if the redness is spreading beyond the scar line, feeling very warm to touch, got swelling, smelly discharge or you have fever then please see your doctor faster faster because those could be signs of infection, otherwise just keep the area clean and dry and maybe ask your gynae about scar gel like Dermatix which helps with healing and reducing redness!

Stomach shrink back without binder

Any csect mum did not wear binder post partum or during confinement but stomach shrink back. I went thru csect last 3 weeks and my stomach is like 4 months preggy and saggy, i have stopped wearing binder after a week as its too unconfortable and i have yet to start my postnatal massage. Will my stomach shrink back anytime soon.

Is it normal for incision to feel hard and painful

I am 3 weeks++ PP, is it normal if csect incision still hurts, on some area ? Esp the middle and ends of incision. Sometimes it feels stretched or stings. And is it normal when we slightly touch or press some area on the incision itll feel hard and more painful than the other area.

Yes. Ur nerves were being cut too hence the sides will be painful when you press on it. It will take around 6 months for that particular issue to heal.

When to go poly

Hi mummies. I have a question. Just found out im expecting. When should i go poly to get a referral? Oh ya my first day of last menses was on 13 September 2023

As soon as you are positive and you can go. Just request for referral letter to hospital

No/small nasal bone at 12 week scan

Hypoplastic nasal bone at Oscar scan, no other abnormalities detected. Risk ratio increased to 1:172. Just went for NIPT test. Has anyone encountered this before?#advicepls

My friend encountered the same issue and she went for a second opinion at another hospital. Turns out the first result was a false positive and baby is fine.

Csection soreness 1 month PP

When will soreness around csection and lower abdomen get better or go away ? I am a month PP, and the soreness is still there. Specifically from the csection area all the way till below belly button. Is this normal how long will it be better. Painkiller is not helping

Hi mummy! My soreness went off within 2 weeks.. other then taking pain killer, i took a modern Jamu from Malaysia. Named, JRM (Jamu Ratu Malaysia) MUSTANIR. THIS really helps me from healing. If its still in pain, please inform ur gynae about it! Dont carry heavy stuff!!

No period and tested negative.

Hi, any mommies know what might be the causes of it? I’ve missed my period for 10 days for the very first time. I’ve taken the hcg test when I’m 7 days late and the result is negative. And also I’ve protected sex. And I don’t think so it’s due to stress. Any mommy have the same problem as me before? #advicepls

Baby first movement

Earlier this morning I suddenly felt a funny kind of pain around the lower tummy (not very pain). Then I put my hands on my tummy and suddenly feel some small movement (like something small rubs against my hand). Does baby movement cause light pain?

don’t think it’ll cause pain.. feels more like bubbling
