Doula in KKH

Hi has anyone taken doula in kkh recently or in the past year? I've not spoken to my gynae yet but based on what I've read, kkh is not so open to doula as compared to NUH and other hospitals. Why so? I have a lot of anxiety as I'm first time mom and already at 33 weeks. I feel doula would really benefit me during actual labour as I'm aiming for uneducated labour. Hi mum, KKH is quite medically-led and epidurals are commonly encouraged for first-time mums, so doula support can depend a bit on the ward setup. Some mums do still bring doulas in, but best to check KKH’s current policy with your gynae and also confirm with your doula if she has recent experience there.
